On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, the unveiling of a new historic marker honoring Haynes Peacock was held at Haynes Haven. Haynes Peacock was a two-time World Grand Champion and is a Tennessee Walking Horse Hall of Fame inductee.
The marker recognizes Haynes Haven’s rich history as a breeding ground for championship Tennessee Walking Horses before the property became home to one of General Motors’ largest manufacturing facilities.
